Summery Saturday
I love my sewing attic. Really love it. There is lots of room, large windows, so I have plenty of light and everything I need is within reach. The only problem is that with those big windows, on beautiful, sunny days like this one, it gets really, really hot up there. On the other hand, who would want to sit upstairs on one of the last days of the summer; Being outside is a lot more fun!
However I did make a little progress on Sarah's coat. And that little bit of progress took a lot of thinking. I never put on a collar on a coat like this and I had no idea how to do it. So I puzzled, searched the internet, puzzled some more. Even Chris helped with this riddle. And just when I thought I wasn't going to figure it out, we had it. And then it all seemed so easy. Do you recognize that?
So the coat has a collar. Tomorrow I will take the next step in the proces. Tonight we are going to enjoy a movie together. And if you happen to search around the internet right now for some tips on something you are sewing at the moment, maybe these will help a bit:
