My Creative Space

It's hot. Really hot. Too hot to do anything but pouring a drink now and then. Filling a little playpool for the little ones. Nurse Oliver. Nurse him again. He's thirsty. Oh, and pouring another drink for ourselves.

It's too hot to do anything but stare a little. Dream a little. Fantasize a little. A perfect time for nothing other than looking at pretty materials and thinking about what to make with them. Some other day ofcourse..

Looking at these pictures I realize that I have a ridiculous amount of ribbons. I think they are very pretty and I love them in their glass vases in my crafting room. But I hardly ever use them. Isn't that silly? What do you use ribbons for? Maybe I should make up a project with lots of ribbons. Any ideas?

Oh Karin...i can so relate to the back door and inviting the children, or whoever in. I grew up in a large family and some days miss the noise and hype of a family. I still have one at home and she is rather quiet..LOL
Your stitching is beautiful..i would love to pop back ...do you mind if i add you to my list...happy day

Hi Karin - lovely, yummy ribbons, I can understand how you love just looking at them! You would have no problem doing embroidery - it doesn't take long to learn a few stitches from some books - honest :) Haven't figured out where you are in the world, would love to know though!! :D
